Preserving a Place for Veterans

From repairing electric motor scooters for free to participating in Post events, Clarence Dietz is #StillServing

Clarence Dietz is a veteran #StillServing as a Gold Legacy Life member of VFW Post 3031 in Rogers, Arkansas. Dietz serves on the Post’s House Committee where he handles the general maintenance of their entire facility, from painting walls to fixing the refrigerator.

He’s an active participant in many of the Post’s local community events, like its VFW “Buddy”® Poppy drive in May that honors veterans who died during service or came home disabled.

Dietz also repairs electric motor scooters — free of charge — for other veterans to use.

When asked why he is #StillServing, Dietz says it’s because he wants to preserve a place for all veterans to gather and share their stories.
